Working together to cut supply chain emissions
In 2022, AstraZeneca partnered with Secaro to accelerate progress toward its Scope 3 reduction goals by equipping suppliers with a practical platform to measure, manage, and reduce emissions.
Now in its third year, the partnership has evolved into a global network of 123 facilities across 25 countries. Together, these suppliers are building stronger measurement practices, identifying opportunities for emissions reduction, and implementing actions that drive tangible impact.
Turning collaboration into momentum
Since the partnership began, AstraZeneca has established a steady rhythm of supplier engagement, running two dedicated campaigns each year. These campaigns invite suppliers to report their latest emissions and explore new reduction opportunities through Secaro.
Across five completed campaigns (2023-2024), AstraZeneca achieved an average conversion rate of 56%, with most invited suppliers purchasing a Secaro license and actively participating.
To date, 76 organizations, representing 123 facilities in 25 countries, have chosen AstraZeneca as a customer on the platform.
